I think of the forms I create as individual entities, conveyors of an emotional sensibility or a gesture. With these separate entities I create multiples, groupings, a collective. Recently, I have been interested in reconfiguring the forms and juxtaposing them with different materials to heighten their psychological impact, giving the sculptures a sense of absurdity. Through my work I strive to grapple with both the strength and vulnerability of the human condition.
