Elusive Door

I have created an installation of six fragmented doors made of layered hardware cloth on the upper level of the three columns. The doors appear to be floating through space and freezing momentarily in front of the columns. As one travels through the space, one sees glimpses of intangible doors that appear and disappear, finally finding a complete door ten feet off the ground. The fragmentation of the doors becomes a puzzle, a visual narrative that elicits a desire to have the doors become whole.
