Cover Series

Definition: protection; shelter; concealment.

anything that veils, screens, or shuts from sight

an assumed identity, occupation, or business that masks the true or real one

The Cover series was influenced by Incoming, a video installation, created by the Irish photographer, Richard Mosse and by Exit West, A Novel by Mohsin Hamid. Both the video installation and the novel examine the current experiences of refugees. Since I began this series, I have begun to explore more deeply the notion of concealment, the things we hide, in plain view.
